Asleep No More

This world is insane! How on earth can a politician spout that blacks must think and act one way, latinos must think and act another way, and women must think and act a certain way? No wait for the punch line: then he/she/it will turn around call me a racist and a sexist solely because I’m a white male.

I have been called a terrorist numerous times over the past decade by several high ranking politicians, including a former president of the United States. I was labeled a terrorist because I disagree with their ideas and for no other reason, but on one occasion I was labeled a terrorist by POTUS in collusion with the DHS solely because I am an honorably discharged veteran. I guess that’s why I’ve been labeled as a deplorable by someone who is trying to get my vote.

I’m not going to throw rocks back at these people, but here, in this blog, I will point out their insanity. I will display their childish behavior to the world. I will call a spade a spade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of my energies and skills, because that challenge is one that I am willing to accept and I… oh crap, I’m plagiarizing John F. Kennedy’s We Choose To Go To The Moon speech. Plagiarism is Joe Biden’s job. Sorry Joe.

I will also talk about my hobbies and interests. My current hobby as a 60+ year old disabled man is to find a job. It’s not as easy as it seems. I’m also am a model railroader, a railfan, a shortwave radio listener (SWL), and an unlicensed Amateur Radio operator (HAM) so I’ll be tracking my goal in returning callsign KB0LVZ to the air.

When the Holy Spirit wakes you up and opens your eyes you begin to see the world in an entirely different way. You begin to see how sin has tainted the world, including your own past, and your own present. We as human beings are all sinners, we all continue to sin regardless of our beliefs, the only difference is the enthusiasm we put in to our sins.

The world is not my home is not my motto, it’s my epigram. It is the mission statement of this particular blog. My motto is Per Fidem Intrepidus, which means “Fearless Through Faith”. My courage isn’t my own, it comes from the Holy Spirit, it’s my faith in God and my personal savior Christ Jesus that calms my fears and allows me to move forward in this fallen world and is the mission statement of my other blog.

This blog is not an extension of Wideawakechristian, blogspot, it’s an expansion (and bonus points to you if you can figure that out) so while over on blogspot I will be discussing theology and sadly, the false teaching that is polluting the world and denying the truth of Christ’s free offer of salvation, on this blog I’ll be discussing the polluted world. The world which, if you didn’t notice, is not my home.
